Here's my twopence worth. I think that this event is badly planned for several reasons: firstly it separates those of us who don't pay and those of us who do, secondly it was sprung upon us with very little notice and thirdly the amount of money a person would need to spend in order to have a reasonable (not even high) probability of completing the event is high.
To develop the second point: when I saw the ad I wasn't sure if it was the weekly event or a special event. I also wondered what specific world happening it tied into. After reading the ad it became obvious that it was celebrating the release of the final installment of harry potter.
On the third point: If you do not have the wands from before it becomes very expensive to get the wands. The odds of getting male... are one in three. You need 2 to get one of the wands (that's according to the odds 6 boosters - probably 4 potentially 8) - that is a lot of money for one event.
Just one other thing I wanted to mention "I think my biggest issue with this event is that eredan advertises itself as a free game." I am not sure if eredan specifically states that it is free (some games do - and then do the same as eredan) but the impression it gives is of a free game and I don't think it helps itself with events like this. I personally am a skinflint and also enjoy the challenge of making a good deck and beating people with expensive decks with one I've created free but may one day spend a little money on this game as a lot of effort has obviously gone into it and I enjoy playing it. Good luck to everyone entering the event.
Something I wanted to check: On lightening beak's turn bonus when it says that the static charge card(s) attached to him are reactivated immediately, does it mean that they activate twice, because static charge reactivates at the start of every turn anyway? Otherwise I cannot see any advantage to his bonus - excepting the card that activates the turn bonus out of combat.
Correction - am now having no problems with elo but still with amnezey
When a game loads it freezes on the please wait game loading page. This is both on the main site and the facebook site. This has happened on both the amnezey and on the other elo tournaments.
I just played same deck again, same player etc and it worked fine - strange. Last game against zil discard happened again.
Correction - it seems sporadic - I came across it playing against a merc deck with unfamiliar characters they were called crystocat and lucyan and shana. I am playing a tsoutai deck.
Yes, exactly the same in elo atm. Must be system wide. Time to stop playing let staff sort it out.
I think Dimizar should be reworded to say "'Dimizar' cannot be wounded by card effects," because at the moment it says "Dimizar cannot be wounded by the effects of your cards" which suggests that it's the opponents cards that cannot wound him. (I have seen coaching used by him and he did not suffer any damage).
I am sure that this has been posted before but I have just had 2 games where I was (admittedly) clearly going to win and the person left. It wasn't as if my hand was overpowered - had the cards gone thier way they could have won. I may have been a little lucky. The reason I'm annoyed is I am trying to win the current trophy and there was a possiblity that, if they'd played on, I could have gained points towards it. Trophies are hard enough without this.
Enough of the rant, I hope I get the trophy.
When playing a person with the foam giant, he played a lot of items (understandably) onto it. I was using the card adventure to try and move one of the items ( crown of the border) to another of his characters so that I could kill the character and thus remove crown of the border. Because there were so many items on the foam giant I did not succeed in moving it but moved another card instead. I thought I had selected crown of the border at selection stage. It would be nice if something could be done to make it easier when selecting items to change remove etc. (popout window or something maybe?)
Quick query - I had a look at items that correspond to a specific caste and there were only 7 (9 if you include the foil versions of draconian sword and dragon's awakening): dragon's awakening, potion of seduction,shuriken, tracker's emblem, tsume, bestial and draconian sword. When the card says that it selects an item that corresponds to one of the castes of your character, does this (in the case of characters without a caste) include no caste or is the card only useful for trackers, crows, dragon knights, witchblades, courtesans and the pack at this moment in time?
Among other things it means that guild restrictions doesn't apply but the deck editor compares the guild of your deck and the guild of the cards. So for example it won't let you put a Kotoba weapon like the Wakizashi in a Zil deck even if it contains Marlok's golem or Golemarlok as a character.
This is no longer the case - I posted a bug report (see "Zil deck with golem allowing Noz item") and it is now possible if there is a golem in your deck to put items of different guilds in. THe same appears to be true of dragon's wit as well.
I see, so to get to max upgrade you need both but they are separate and need buying separately. Thank you.
Are Hares the Brute and Hares the Runic two totally separate characters or is there a way to start with Hares the Brute and later merge or transform him into Hares the Runic? (I realise you would probably need to lvl up to 3rd level with the brute 1st).
