Regardless, you cannot resell the cards you buy in starters. If for that reason alone I advise you holding off on the Fee'z ones till you are sure you'll use the cards.
So are the Kotoba - Trackers (999 Fee'z) considered a starter deck with cards that can not be sold? Or is it that just the ones for the 1200 crystals that can't be sold?
If you are focusing on Kotoba, get a Newcomers booster, sell the things you don't need and use the crystals to flesh out your deck. At least Newcomers booster will have a better crystal return IMHO.
So, the newcomers boosters have cards from all the different guilds, right? Is it better to get them since they have the newest and relatively stronger cards? Is that why they have a better rate of return? Will I get enough from selling them to be able to buy Kotoba cards I would want?
Kotoba decks tend to be:
Master Ma Warriors (Master Ma, Asajiro, [warrior])
War Guem Trackers (Shui Khan(guem), Kotori Kage, Hime)
Crow Marauders (Chidori, Kotori Kage, Karasu Kage)
Tsoutai (Xianren, Toran the Regent, Ayako)
Demon Hunters (Yu Ling, Nashi, Zatochi Kage [Ookuni instead of Nashi optional])
Human Trackers (Shui Khan (human), Tsuro, Satsume[from dark tower])
Thank you very much for the advice so far. I only see the Kotoba Trackers in the store right now. If I buy the Trackers, will that open up the possibility of buying the other Kotoba decks? Can the rares I would get from buying the Kotoba decks be used in other Kotoba decks? I just want to make sure. None of this is very clear. Thanks again.
I just started playing and have the Kotoba starter deck. I will make up my own mind, of course, but am wondering if any of you have advice on what to buy first, having the benefit of hindsight. I have about $20 I am willing to spend, so I am wondering how to prioritize my purchases.
Should I buy the Kotoba trackers pack for 999 Fee'z? 4 rares.
Should I buy Kotoba booster packs for 400 Fee'z each? 1 rare each.
Should I buy individual cards in the store or in the marketplace to supplement the Kotoba deck?
Or should I buy other starter decks? It seems logical to me to keep building on the Kotoba I already have. Is there any benefit to buying other starter decks, or should I just concetrate on the Kotoba? If I focus on the Kotoba, where should I invest my Fee'z and crystals?
It seems like you get more rares for your Fee'z going with the trackers pack, so it seems like I should get that before any boosters. Does it make more sense though to just buy individual cards in the store or marketplace to build good decks? Any advice would be appreciated.

Some people are saying that adding people as friends is no longer necessary. Yet we still do have posts that provide free crystals. Doesn't it still make sense to add friends to get crystals from the Facebook feed?
