I find this odd, too. Abomination also seems to lose a finger on each hand when he goes from level 5 to 6.

What do you mean only Ergue? He still needs Soriek and BigRage to make Abom.

Do you mean he only needs one of himself? I'd assume so in the story, otherwise it would just be odd.

Ergue is a character, he is unique as a person.
In the story, you can't have 2 Ergue, like you have only one Marlok, one Abyssien, one Anryena, One Kounok.

nope if you read the story ergue soriek and bigrage makes abomb through a ritual that ergue knows

Mashtok does appear in story, in the [card]Offensive[/card]'s chapter. Ergue and Soriek fuse into Mashtok while Bigrage sneaks into Dimizar's mansion, then when they are all inside the fuse into Abomination. Cigue hasn't appear yet though.

so basically it should take mashtok and bigage but i guess they decided they wanted it to cost more or take longer to get or sumthin....

Or just Ergue, Soriek and Bigrage. In [card]The monster[/card]'s chapter they fuse at once without any intermediate state. Yes, let's say they just wanted to make it harded to lv up.

I vote they wanted to make it harder. At the very least they could let you play Cigue and Mashtok in the same deck for training.

now that would be too odd as both of them can basically make a uber dagger deck and it would be too weird story wise

it doesnt but they just like to make it harder as specified by the others to limit the running abombs at tourneys i guess
