Aez the wandering warrior

I'm not sure this is a bug or if I am just being silly and impatiant.
I have Aez, the wandering warrior at level 3. Which should be his highest level, thus I can't play him in the training room.
I would like to merge him with Aez, King of Avalonia but the mergingwindow states that Aez, the wandering warrior lacks experience.
I do have the king at level 3, and the sword required.

Thank you for replies. And if this isnt a bug, please just remove my topic.

You have to fill the XP of Aez the wandering warrior.
So you have to play with him (in another room that the training one) until he has his XP bar full (1120 XP)
