does paladin's hammer work for golems?
if it does why dont foam giant craftsmen decks use it?

paladin's hammer doesn't work for golems as it is a thurgy that turns into an item at the end of turn.

You can use it with adventure, I use to have a deck with Sevy, Lady and Foam giant, based mainly on that card.
Other thing that happened to me is that I had Paladin hammer on Sevylath and my adversary used Freeze, after I bought it again, it was considered an item and the Foam giant could play it.
Another way of putting Paladin's Hammer on a golem is using Teaching.
