Lol Death of the dead

Should have flavor text

"I kill you! I kill you 'till you are dead!"

If there were no luck in TCG, how boring would that be?

Yesterday I felt silly for buying exaltation for 6000, today I feel soo smart, because I will need it and it will rise in price like hell.

Means you get +dmg if it ends in a tie and you do it when then have 2 dead and you 1 or less...can be useful i guess.....

Re : Death of the Dead!

By the way, this mission can be much much harder than the last one.

You can complete this one by:

A) Killing priests . ( This depends a lot on which decks you face, and most people don't have priest decks anyway. There is no priest starter deck. )

B) Using a priest based deck. But the problem here is that your priest has to survive for you to gain the point. Using an apostle, for example, without enough good spells/actions to support is pure suicide and won't net you any points. I really wonder how many people have the crystals to buy a decent priest deck and are willing to do so....

@Rathedan: Yea, i understood what it does. What i found curious is that it damages dead characters. That is a first xD
It is surely an useful card for some decks.

Re : Death of the Dead!

I will play priests for this even, but I feel corect to simply quit if oponent doesn't play them, and comes with some broken anti priest stuff (hares the runic). Using event as a mean to get more wins of people doing the event is poor sportsmanship.

What am I missing? why is it good to do damage to already dead characters?

Re : Death of the Dead!

There are 3 ways of winning a match:

1- If you have the last standing character(s).
2- If your opponent has no more cards to draw when it is required, He loses the match in the next turn.
3- If all the characters are dead, whoever dealt (and healed) the most damage wins.

The number 3 is the important one for this matter. If you use this Event's card you can deal an extra 10 damage. The extra 10 damage may be the difference between winning or losing in the point 3.

It is also counted if both players deck out at the same time.

Re : Death of the Dead!

Fast and dirty way of doing this event. Make a deck of any 3 priests, and add all the defencive cards you have (more defence the better). And just deck yourself out by discarding all your hand every turn and playing biggest defence booster awailible. 3 points per game.

Re : Death of the Dead!

Doesnt work.

You need a KO win to get points. I got an opponent timed out and got nothing

Re : Death of the Dead!

I don't know about other language versions. But the german ingame news clearly state that timed out and forfeited games won't count. So decking yourself should do the trick.

Re : Death of the Dead!

And i can't see them allowing KO victories either.
Forfeiting and time outs not counting is explicitly mentioned, decking is not.
Maybe decking doesn't work, i can't test it because i can't afford this kind of deck. But the news itself implies that it will work.

Re : Death of the Dead!

Decking works, tested it. And its the only thing to do when facing fully leveled kotoba with my lv 1 priests.

Well, i'll take the "never get this trophy" route. At least the reward doesn't look very appealing to me, so no big loss there.

Re : Death of the Dead!

Playing fully leveled Kotoba or Zil during this event is that I call cheap tactics, because you give no points to oponent, you are just trying to take his points away.

Re : Death of the Dead!

Playing full levelled anythign in evo rooms is pointeless and dumb.

Still...playing a deck thats betting on losing is counterintuitive to the gamestyle....its dumb that everyone is resorting to it.
