9/15/12 Update: Been winning most games vs Elementals using this deck. Replace Mekalchemist with a Runic Warrior such as Runic Warrior Loquitus, he will draw Immobilization until he dies. Key is to attach these cards on Consul as soon as possible: Crown of the Border, Centorium helmet/Back to Noz'Dingard and as many Resistances as possible. Added bonus is to equip him with [card]Tantadian Spear[/card] as well. Use the other characters to fight the main boss "Earth Elemental" until the end, as fighting him will prevent playing Item cards till end of the game.

Why is it that it will suddenly prevent me from playing any cards? while fighting the earth elemental? It's not because of immobilization, because all my cards are items...is anyone else having this problem?? Just on some random turn, it will prevent me from playing anything until the end of the game...which normally means I lose if it happens too early...

Perhaps the hidden effect of elemental, I believe that if you make at least two battles with him, with the same character, is prevented from using items until the end of the match

Well, lets hope you've completed the Olympics event. Here are two possible strategies, first off a normal queen deck with gold metal, 3 [card]Moneyed[/card]s and [card]Key of the Eternal[/card]. Don't be afraid to discard all of your cards on the first couple turns, once you get gold metal you're fine.

Another idea would be a queen deck with [card]Olympus Champion[/card], [card]Gold Metal[/card] and 3 [card]Producer...[/card]s.

I use the first and I have beaten the elementals about 20 times and lost all of never.

I've destroyed Earth ele's with a comp deck, Using Nukes along with Crystal Storm, usually win by round 5 or 6 only lost once out of at least 20 times, only got Earth Element, but no rubble yet. toxic I've beat with Queen and her 2 craftsmen deck, lost a few times due to damage on queen before getting enough Spirit/def.

No, comp is the only viable solution vs earth elemental, no other options have been discussed previously in this thread

Do not understand why it is so difficult to get the Earth Elemental, even after beating the Elementals and Toxik close to 20 times each. On the other hand, I have 12 Water Elementals in my collection. Is the odds of the Earth Elemental so much worse than the Water Elemental?

I got both Earth Elementals & Rubble from beating Earth Elementals deck I think it's give you better chance & more easier too with Comp deck, but you must deal with them several times in a row.

I fought the Elementals more than 20 times before switching to Toxik as I thought the possibility of getting 2 cards might give me a better chance than 1 card of getting Earth Elemental. Still have got it till now. Might have won 30 fights so far againsts Toxik. I did get a total of 2 Rubbles though.

experienced pretty much the same, took forever to get water ele but got earth same day it came out. Just goes to show the randomness of drop rates. ijklim u must have been doing some serious farming to get 12 of em lol

Yea, it's sooooooo random! I got the water elemental pretty quickly but i'm still farming the earth one... not to mention that the other drops are crap .__.

My last count is 12 Water Elementals (including 1 foil), 8 Toxik's staff, 3 Rubbles and no Earth Elementals. Wish I could swap out 2 or 3 Water Elementals for 1 Earth Elemental.

Keep farming then...

The next time I beat the earth elemental with my S.A.R.A.H. deck I'm so taking a picture. I think the earth elemental was giving S.A.R.A.H. puppy dogs eyes when he used the -7 defense on as if hoping to beat her fully buffed. Unfortunately the first time around I stupidly let them take out S.A.R.A.H. before realising I had to protect her at all cost.

Well, back to farming Satsume, Malwein Bomb, Water Elemental, Earth Elemental, Rubble, Maun, Heavy Armour, Saltimbank's Hat, Spectral Potion, Morning Star Weapon, Desert Mast, Strength of the Nomads, Artraban's Sacrifice, Facepierce Glove, Mystic's Slayer Shadow, and Deirf Geis. Did I mention that adventure mode really hates dropping things for me?
