Note that this tournament is organized by the Consortium a French clan of Eredan.
The members of the jury are limited in their knowledge of language (I am personally able to understand French and English, but no other languages). It would be unfair to the others languages writers if we open the contest to other languages, I have to google-translate it to understand the text.
As organizers, we choose to open the context to English speaking community, we could choice to keep it French only.

Feerik is involved in the rewards (and I thank them again for that) but not on other part (except for Dimizar who is member of the jury). An announcement in game could be done but again, it would be some kind of unfair to announce this in all languages and allow only 2 languages for the texts.

Read all the text, you will see that it is not the language the problem but the consistency of your text.
We can discuss here or by email if you want more explanations about what has been wrong with your text.

It is the same for all participants, if you wants details of your notation, feel free to send me an email.

i dont think that anything has been wrong with my text... its my personal creation of mind... like a piece of art and you can say what you think about it but i dont think its wrong!?! either you like it or you dont^^;

apparently i was not seeing all the info cause i totally skipped that we could also write without a card as a foundation... i thought that was the idea behind the whole thing... anyways...

also i didnt know that feerik wasnt behind this (ok consortium... but who/what is that ? now i know its a clan *shrugs*)... with this info i can partly understand why there are no public announcements... but most ppl who would be able to write a story in english or french are left out because they got no info at all... like in the german section there was no announcement for this event because the texts accepted should be in french or english... but if i was just checking the german forum (still being able to talk english) i wouldnt be able to participate (you read me?)

i m still quite sure that if i would have translated my text into french the ranking could have been slightly different.. but who knows... we will see next time ;-)

and ye... i d like to have forum events like this more often (!!!)... maybe on even a higher base with forum users to directly participate and also with feerik announcing the things in game because it will attract more people to join the forum... even if just for a short time... new faces and ideas should always be attracted by whatever means possible! so if an writers event like this has the potential... why not using it?

as for the jury... ok its a clan thing as i understood you now... thus the jury consists of clan members which is logical... how about extending the whole jury from 5 to 10 members while 5 are still coming from the clan (also representing the biggest community which is french, 2 for english, 2 for spanish and 1 german... this is just an example... the aim would be to also judge the texts from a different ankle)

You can find your text perfect, it's your choice, but for my personal knowledge how you explain this :
"-„I was about your age back then… before it happened.“ "
Then :
"-„I really don’t know what you, Aradot and Fionam stole from the Kotoba…. but it was the deal I had to sign to save my life and the lives of the boys to find you and help bringing you here.“"

For the rest of the organization things, make your own tournament, choose your own jury and your own format.

We, the Consortium clan, have done this one. If we made another one, it will surely something like this one.
This works well for us.

please get away from my story... i know its not thaaaat great... i didnt even expect much... and 6th place for the little effort i spent is quite good imo... anyways...

i still would like to hear your opinion about involving feerik in this kind of thing a bit more... like advertising for it in the game... which would imo increase the forum users number

for ppl who are not able to write a story in english or french one could decide to let someone write in whatever language they like and let him/her find a friend to translate that into english/french and then share the win among these 2 for a shared work.... (just an example)

also i like to have more forum events... story writing is nice... card drawing is nice... ideas for weekly trophy could work too i think... this would increase activity in the forum no?

again i draw my hat for the work you did... again i would like to say that i bit more organisation and involvement from official side would make this great event an awesome one...

If you know stop to put things on this forum about how we are partial with the language.

The staff has a lot to do with the game, if we can organize events without them, it is good for the community in general.

Language is the key here. You can't have the same feelings before a text in one language and before its translation.
Just see the difficulties with the official history translation.

So, I far I'm concerned, I'm able to understand correctly 2 languages, so we limit the contest to these two languages.
