Well, I wouldn't call Walmart a card shop, but you can't exactly buy booster back for Eredan at shop that specialises in selling cards either. Should mention I'm also Canadian, so prices up might be slightly different then down there.
Buying cards from Walmart isn't really the best. The markup is horrendous.
I'm not sure what exactly you mean by the last part. The Canadian Dollar is worth about the same (Actually less by a fraction of about 20% of a penny) than the American Dollar, so the prices of a pack here and there would be almost the same. Unless Canada just charges more for packs of cards than America does.
