To ease your suffering a little, we have been told, and no I will not post the link to the thread, find it yourself, that there will be releases in the future to "balance" discard (even though its not a top-tier deck... people just dont like fighting them cause they are no fun to play against, even if you win).

BTW, just pointing it out, but the market has another unreleased spell type that might interest you called Crystalomagic. This has been there for a long time now, so expect a release regarding it.

another note: there will be more to come in the future. Just because a card is OP one day, doesnt mean that it will be OP the next. Hell, give Feerik a couple releases. Im sure discards will be obsolete. (and im not a discard player, im a Zil dag player... which isnt really recognized for what its worth... yet )

I always considered discard to be annoying, however not OP (around 50/50 winrate, depending on my draw luck), but indigestion simply gives me... well, indigestion.

Indigestion isnt impossible to counter, now a days there's lot of agro decks who wont let you stay alive on round 4, it was a great improve for circus they really needed to be as fast as the other decks but isnt op, but i've to agree the double clay is a bit broken and indigestion is one of the bests discard cards atm

Double clay is a lot more OP than indigestion, albeit its still a crazy card. Most discard decks rely on the fact that your playing cards too, probably 2 a turn along with pretty much discarding your hand from their discard cards.

for aggro decks I simply suggest to pick out the couple cards you'll use most in the first 2 rounds or so and then after that... STOP playing cards. play a card when your going for the kill and only when you think you can do it.

it doesn't work all the time but come on. USE SOME STRATEGY and QUIT CRYING

I'm assuming you don't know what a NPE is. That's a Negative Play Experience, and that's what discard is in this game. While people like you find it funny, a majority don't. If the NPE gets bad enough, people quit the game and new players simply don't play anymore. That's what discard is in this game in general, and why it does not, no matter what anyone says, have a place here.

But then again, you jump ship to whatever is OP at the moment, considering a week or so ago you were all over Tempus' and Avalonian's nuts, so I don't really expect much from you. But those are the facts. I'm not expecting you to understand, not by a long shot, but it is what it is.

I don't understand why it's a NPE. It's a different play style. Like Hand Job, Feminist, Foamy, DK, Noz Blast, etc. If discard is so negative, why aren't all of these decks too? We established discard isn't op, and with the new release, noz won't give a rats about discard, Pirates have SARAH, sap have rain dance (or even better IHAS), Kotoba have origami and shurikan (and WaW), and everyone has Moneyed, ANS, Watcher, Recycle Magic, etc... So what's the deal? If you can't fit something to counter every deck... GOOD. That means you win some you lose some, but it's still worth playing. And there are plenty of cards that make discard tremble. You don't want to lose to discard? Shove a few deck recur. in there instead of other filler like you would against a mages spirit, warriors def, or marauders att.

Instead of making discard more about control and balance it , they simply released Indigestion and Double Clay , just goodbye to the old cards .

Why ? Money making of course
Their reason ? "They release those cards because high Elo players ( the guys put INS in every deck they use ) think discard is weak "

the way they kill the old cards and replace them with the OP ones is just so greedy and makes almost non-sense

The NPE generally comes from the fact that Discard is the most versatile deck at taking down pretty much all decks.

In order for non-discard decks to achieve full efficiency or function, damage wise or stacking, they need their cards and placing Anti-Discard cards in there might grind the overall strategy to a halt.

Also monetary investment wise for Discards price it can take down pretty much most decks with little investment. This is a deck that can topple most Million dollar decks.

if you think a post pointing out the obvious OP of discards is QQ then I suspect you are a discard player yourself, only pure discard players oppose any views against balancing discard decks, so please do us a favor and post constructive feedback instead of biased non-constructive feedback. No one wants to hear your love for discards or how feerik intends to "balance" (lol) them. we all know feerik is a young company that doesn't know how to balance cards, but somehow they get rich people to pay thousands of dollars for their weekly releases. don't worry it will end one day and feerik will just be another failed "f2p" game.

all of the above has happened to me. but it just so happened that i was PREPARED for it! I played the cards that I would need and just let the other 3 go into the graveyard via indigestion. time is not your friend against discard decks but most people freak out and just start playing a crazy game of beat the clock,

I don't have ANS and probably will never afford it though so why would i use that as a personal argument?

I guess the only thing I could say is that I run Dk's with arkalon and he auto returns cards, you can say anathemize but i doubt you use more than one in a deck to counter his effect happening after every fight he's in.

I do loose against discard but i do win too, so no i will not cry when my 3 best cards get lost to discard because i don't rely on only three cards to win a fight, i use STRATEGY.

I own a discard deck, yes, but I usually try to come up with non-net decks like my Deirf, Nalen, and Erein deck. Discard isn't even my favorite playstyle, but I don't think that it deserve this much crap from everyone.

Indigestion would be OP if it read: 3 cards from your opposing DECK are discarded... etc etc. But no, it reads from your hand. Wanna know what that means? Chaining them together is minimizing the discard output. At most discarding 5 (I suppose 8 is the max if Pirate Legend is played) cards, usually the second one is completely useless.

Personally I think the card is alright in causing a discard of 3 BUT, just as they did with Living Nature, I believe they should make it UNIQUE. That way it is still a powerful card as is living nature in the right deck, BUT it does not over power the deck so much that the other player gets so frustrated and just quits.

There is also Counterspell and Magic Shield that can help, I have used magic shield on a few occasions and the discard player just up and quit.
