There are trophies earned by accumulating all of the "ACT X" event trophies. Some of these are pretty substantial rewards. I think that would be the only real reason (other than having the trophy for the ability to give your avatar a nickname).

just depends on what kind of player u are...

i m a collector, actually i want to have all cards and most trophies

some are going straight for the win and letting everything left aside when it comes to effectivity

some are simply having too much money and buy the stuff anyways

The crystal rewards are no greater than buying 5-6 boosters ;P
I spent $20 on packs a couple of weeks ago and made almost 200k, each trophy costs 200 feez, so, spending 2k+feez on trophies to grinding them out for 15k is kicking yourself in the head.

Collectors won't go for this deal because they want Elhorana, before the trophy she comes from was introduced, she was only available to players who participated in a beta event.

But technically, 69 trophy cards and 7 event only cards, without the trophy/missed the events, is a great deal of savings when it comes to time and money.

everyone has their way of playing, and if they want to buy the cards outright and don't care for the trophies, then by all means purchase away. Its your money and at the end of the day, it keeps the game alive for longer.

I just want to put it out there that this:

Mega end of the year pack 2011 : The event cards from Acts I to IV + content offered for 4390 Fee'z thus more than 70% off!

may not be entirely accurate since getting a discount means you get the same thing for cheaper, like when you buy clothes on sale. For eredan, I consider it a discount if you get the card + the trophy but since you actually get ONLY the card, I consider it a "CLEVER" way of marketing.

festivities still doesnt with with ayir's ability. it would show that it made a copy but nothing would come of it and it would just disappear

As for the topic. It's been settled.
If you're anal about trophies, you don't want it.
If you need the cards, you'll either drudge about not getting the unlocks and call it a nom-discount offer,
Or just not care for the trophies and be happy you didn't have to spend hours upon hours to get these cards.
