He's back, and he isn't happy!
This week marks the return of the emblematic character from the Zil Warriors. He is no longer the leader, and has focused all of his attention towards being violent against the poor characters who are in front of him. The other cards from this release accents the two principle strategies of the Zil: confuse the enemy, and leaving him 3 inches of metal between his shoulder blades.

The Liberated Telendar . (and his two upgrades). Rare. Character. Zil Warrior. Marauder. Human. Spirit 1. Attack 6/8. Defense 2. Health points 11. Attack +1 against the Courtesans. Turns 1, 4, and 7: Bonus Attack from the first card played by Telendar is doubled if it's an Action.

ShadowBlade. Rare. One Handed Dagger Weapon Zil Warriors. Attack +1 and Spirit +1. If your character deals physical damage to the opposing character, he will suffer X direct damages where X is equal to the total heals received by the opposing character this Turn. Permanent. Chain Marauder card.

Act of Peace. Uncommon. Action. Zil Warrior. Warrior/Marauder. Attack -1, Defense -1 and Spirit -1. The next card non Item played by the opposing character is ignored. Chain "lies".

Lies. Uncommon. Action. Zil Warriors. The characteristic penalties on your character are ignored this Turn. Chain Item or Spell.

Slit Throat. Common. Action. Zil Warriors. Warrior/Marauder. Attack +1 for each card carrying bonus Attack to your character.

Impale. Common. Action. Attack +2. Attack min. +2 if your character carries a One Handed Weapon. The One Handed Weapons carried by your character are discarded.

Eh, I think I like the old Telendar better. This one has better health and defense in final level, but his skills are not very impressive. If he also still chained Marauder cards in addition to his new ability, then he'd be a powerhouse. As of now, he seems a bit lackluster...

at the cost of slowing down the game.

old marauder top team still stands: saphyra the zil + abom + telendar.
two chaining almost all cards chars make a more massive impact over random chance on having good cards to use.

i kinda agree, i was expecting sightly more but it's worth a try! shame i missed the trophy that gives bonus attack at the cost of somebody's health points... hummm.. +12...

The new telendar is good, just in a different way... Its just a different take on a very cool character. He has a passive attack bonus on courtesans, I hope this also means a courtesan reinforcement is happening soon... Could mean nothing though cause i know it has to do with story purposes as well.

That dagger is a bomb tho:
Immortals and corruption decks are getting owned and it chains into other daggers which are usually marauder cards. allowing better chaining for for abom and saphyra.

Maybe we can place bets but I guess zil will get a boost for top elo games thanks to that item.

the only good thing about the guy is that he has more health

attack +1 against courtesan is worthless..
it would be nice if he got the 3 order bonus though instead of 4..

the ability is nice though, but to lose all the other bonuses for that and 2 health, honestly its still a bit disappointing after thinking about it for a few more hours. >_<

I'll probably wait for a promo before buying, assuming how feerik works the past few weeks since i came back, it seems it is still best to wait for a promo or an event before buying..

The artwork is nice but the effects are garbage imo, except for the dagger that kills healing
