ok, So, I've had this deck for a bit now, and while it does good i feel that for the most part it simply relies on one thing and if that one thing doesn't work then I'm screwed so here's my pirate deck, what are your thoughts?
[card]Armada[/card]
[card]Bragan[/card]
[card]Captain Al killicrew[/card]
[card]Flames of the phoenix[/card](level 2)x1
[card]Capturing the enemy[/card]x1
[card]Dreamlike encounter[/card]x1
[card]Pirate legend[/card]x1
[card]moneyed[/card]x2
[card]Pirate Code[/card]x2
[card]Fiery Sword[/card]x3
[card]Catch![/card]x3
[card]Supplying[/card]x3
[card]Jolly Roger[/card]x3

I am not the best at pirates but it is my opinion that recycle magic and or watcher should be involved unless you have ans.
Seems pretty vanilla otherwise what seems to be the problem?

-Im sorry to say but 1 mage and 3 [card]fiery sword[/card] youll have a lot of stuck card after bragan uses all his powder.... either reduce some sword or replace more mage...
- Yeah! but i think 3 [card]catch[/card] is to much to pass around... either add more defensive card like [card]Fallback[/card]s or add more recycle card like [card]A New Start[/card] or [card]watcher[/card]
- [card]Jolly roger[/card] is nice but never handy when your characters always die on 1 hits... need to protect your characters to last 4 turns or more so you can pile up more powders before the "BIG FIREWORKS" just watch out for mage this deck really sucks againts magic damage...
-Powder deck got a lot of firepower... but it always the bad draw "not getting [card]supplying[/card] in time" will be your kryptonite you know what i mean...

Cossette is quite correct.
Fiery Sword x 1 is all you need with only Bragan.
But here is your real issue, Armada and Flames of the Pheonix don't work together. Armada removes all your opponents powder, if your opponent survives Flames won't kill him either, which happens quite easily if she is in the first round or you fail to draw a supply before her turn.
So now the real question is, do you want to make an Armada deck, a Fiery Blade deck or a Flames deck?
If you want Flames, I suggest Clover instead of Armada. Ammunition Box and Powder Keg can be played to increase how much they take and if you put ammo on Bragan you can possibly even use two Fiery Swords. A Multitasking would be good and Good Jorusiens on the Captain are always nice.
Also you want to take full advanatage of the captain's chaining pirate items. Pirate Code x 3 is a must. She is annoyingly hard to take down with 3 on her. I've won several matches on just that fact alone.
Catch can be good before Bragan does his fiery blade but leaving the Captain without powder could be bad(unless you supply before the blade so she has it next turn). I'd only have 1 or 2 of those (one for each... maybe).
Pistolblade is nice offense but I'd only have one in it.
Now an Armada deck is different. In that type of deck you must do everything to keep her alive. I suggest Jorus with Good Jorusiens and Powder Kegs(and obvious multitaskings) instead of the captain. I'm fairly sure Powder Kegs go off after her ability so getting Pirate Codes on her can be worth it.
For your third Character I'd go with Briscar since he's like a mini-supply each turn, Bragan for a good one turn Catch and ice barriers or even Poukos who can also do ice barriers and survive a few more turns against Kotoba/Zil huge physical damage.
Lastly to do a Fiery Blade deck you want Mylad instead of Armada. It's fairly the same same but instead but with two fiery blades. You build up powder, your mages sacrifice themselves to do massive damage to their opponents and the Captian cleans up the mess with Flames hopefully doing a lot more damage then they did(and possibly the Captain surviving). The main issue is against most beat down decks you mages will have trouble surviving a round so ice barrier, teamwork, mirage, and maybe illusionary reflection are a must. Also throwing a Runic Bracer or Armor of the Thunder King on Captain is quite helpful.
Also don't dismiss Golfer-sinker it's worth is a ton more since Captain can chain it.

i agree, the three fiery swords is a bit much, as for draw that's not a big issue for me, I've got two cards that help out with that big time.
the concerns about armada, if she goes first she nearly kills them and then two supplyings + fotp usually kills everybody.
I've honestly not gone up against a mage deck yet so I'm not sure how it would do but I would say I've got well over a sixty percent win with this deck with a win on turn 4 or 5
my issues that I've seen, too many fiery swords, I have reduced them replacing them with watchers.
