Tips and Tricks~
A good thing to know when evolving character cards is how they gain experience points. Here is a list of how many experience points characters can get during a fight:
play = 1 xp
win = 1 xp
each order activate = 1 xp
alive = 1 xp
full health = 2 xp
perfect win = 2 xp
Using order cards such as [card]It is time[/card] and [card]That's an order![/card] will help not only you, but also your friend/opponent to activate the necessary orders to level up characters faster.
Work with your group mates. Some people intend to train specific characters more or faster than others. If they mention something (or if you are kind enough to ask) help them out with their goal.
When training with others, use a tiered level system to keep the decks somewhat balanced and not overpowering. Sure, some people want to train level 3, 4 or 5 characters, but it is no fun against level 1 characters. Try to use decks that are around the same tiered level when training to make it more fair and balanced. Here is how it works:
Total Level of Characters / 3 = Tiered level (round down)
So basically a Tier 1 can consist of following combinations:
1 - 1 - 1
1 - 1 - 2
1 - 1 - 3
1 - 2 - 2
Once the group levels hits 2 - 2 - 2 it counts as a Tier 2 deck.
Tier 2 combinations:
2 - 2 - 2
2 - 2 - 3
2 - 3 - 3
2 - 4 - 1
2 - 4 - 2
etc...
Tier 3 is the final tier, basically most characters are at their strongest at level 3. So anything above level 3 works here.
Group Rules~
Rules may sound kind of harsh, but considering what we want to accomplish and do, some will be necessary.
1. Be helpful and supportive of not only your fellow members but also other people. This counts in other rooms you train with people (not actual main deck playing but actual training of cards) and especially in the training room. We want to set an example and spread the help many others could use as well.
2. Stick to Orders and their characters. Using a character's orders is the best way to get some exp on them, so make sure not only your characters, but also your opponents/friends.
3. Do not pester people or harrass them to train with you. We are in a group, but other people like to do things at their own pace. If somebody doesn't want too or cannot train with you at that moment, just ask another member.
4. Do not harrass or patronize others for not being helpful in the training room. You can however feel free to explain to them in a manerly way that there is a way peopel can train there and both players benefit from it. Feel free to share the link to this thread.
If you for some odd reason cannot abide to these rules, a good talking too will occur and if it happens often a removal from the group.
As of recently a lot have been complaining about people not being supportive or helpful in the training rooms, and instead decide to play against you as if it was a normal match.
Here is such a thread where a group is forming to make this trianing more fun and more fair for others:
http://forum.eredan.com/viewtopic.php?i … at=itcg-us
I have discussed it with Blue_Wolf and am now going to make a semi-unofficial-semi-official-whatever-thread on behalf of his idea and concept.
The following posts will contain:
-Group 'Rules'
-Tips and Tricks on how to train your characters/other cards
-Group Add-Mes (Facebook only at the moment)
In general we hope to spread helpfulness and supportiveness amongst our community, concentrated on evolving or training cards. We also like to offer others an opportunity to find others amongst themselves and to of course network and get together to have some fun.

Chunky monkey.
I would really like to see these cards available. You guys could always throw in a special bonus for members who have spent loads of cash on this game. ;D
*nudge nudge blink blink*
Yes I am.
Considering it could bring others to play these decks would also help offer soem variety in this game. Sick of fighting against Kotoba Warrior Decks, Zil Marauders and Noz Melee/Mages.
We could really use some of these 'guild' based trophies in our list of trophies.
We have card collecting, opponent defeating and character training ones for Noz, Zil and Kotoba, why not add some for the other two guilds?
This would gravely help us get a little extra to do, as well as promote these two semi unknown guilds.
Well worth it, as that card is just devastating. Combine with a Than the Sword... D:
I have a different proposition. Obviously we wont be able to spread the word to the many players oblivious to the effects of orders on their characters and thus will continue 'suffering' in the training room.
How about instead we just compile a list of players who know how to train with another deck properly, so both decks and players benefit from it mutually. Then other 'members' can team up with them either inside the training room or not.
Benefit for outside grind is that you also get some stats to your trophies, which is always nummy.
How about I just start a list. Maybe Blue-Wolf can update the first post and throw in a list there?

They are both pretty defty. I am making Mashtok first, but only because I have Soriek in foil.
The English speaking part of the game's community is rather small and thus our forum community is as well. In addition a lot of people probably do not even look atthe forums, as it is pretty quiet.
The only thing that would help is an announcement advertising these forums, or even better, an event connected to them to interest people into coming here.
That's why I do not play it. I feel bad facing all these level 6 newbies and then get spanked with some uber deck from a level 17 dude.
Nah you would have to delete your deck and remake a deck. Decks gather stats when used, such as wins, losses, etc... If you just switch cards, the deck stays the same deck, it is just modified. You would have to make entirely new decks, meaning delete the old and rebuild it. D:
Loads of effort, good for a rainy day. xD
lol grind with a friend.
I am close to getting my trophy 514/600. What you need to do is just make a deck full of Action cards only and then grind against a friend with a simular deck. For benefits to both players, no zil discard cards.
On average I get 14-17 points per 6 round game with my marauder deck.
A friend of mine got the trophy already... and so far the card has no text or name. So still a mystery as to what it will do. Though from what I hear the card looks boobilicious. rofl.
You should check the discussion part of this forum. We have an Add Me thread.
To do this you would have to recreate your decks every time. Basically:
-Win
-Lose
-Delete deck
-Recreate deck
The only reason why I have not done this yet is because I cba to rebuild my deck 40+ times just for the trophy! xD
I agree it would be good for us all to suggest some rules and tips to help eachother gain more experience in these rooms. Unfortunately, however, people seldomnely care enough for others to help out.
I can well imagine people using their good decks and scoring an additional 2 points for a perfect in battles they probably will win. Quite a few people will be like that, especially until we have established a certain ground rule.
Another difficulty with this is that we exclude players too. Which, even if they are 'unfair', will cause communual drifts and alienate people from our gaming community. A certain set of rules could and should be enforced by those who wish to follow. But definately no excluding others who might not just because they do not want too.
I prefer doing such grinding with friends. Meet up with them and then help eachother gain some easy exp for untrained characters. Training room for me, has always been a place I use, or more, go to, to train on my own when friends are currently unavailable or just not in the mood.
You forget we could use this thread or a simular one as an addition to the info listed in the wiki.
Still thanks for your efforts. Maybe we could work on other guides not really explained in the wiki?
You might want to elaborate on what you regard as fairplay. lol
Tbh, I prefer fighting outside of teh training room, cause there I still get stuff for my trophies.
It could have a hidden bonus, one not written on the card.
Though, considering the card was a free hand out to every booster pack you bought during a specific time, I would say it is just a nicer version of the card and more fun to look at.
Yeah I figured they might be purchasable again as when I finished a couple they stayed purchasable in shop.
Guess I will just have to see if somebody finds out. If not, I will try msyself once I have em all. >:D
One's got hot babes the other has nasty old men on it.
I doubt it. xD The lowest would be at 40k still. That's 1 sixth of that price.
