Huh... So the cards technically aren't discarded yet? The prestige clearly seems to think they are, otherwise it would just ignore the picking of a card, right? Somehow the prestige DID trigger despite there being no cards.
It'd be acceptable if the discard only happens at the end of the turn, but as it is the game gets stuck on the prestige. Let me emphasize that I wasn't able to do anything. I couldn't select a card in the discard pile (since there weren't any), yet the game wouldn't allow me to continue without picking a card, thus forcing me to time out.
Even if the discarding effect happening later is working as intended, I'd say the getting stuck part is definitely a bug. I can't imagine that to be intentional.
So, I was playing zil mage discard vs compendium in amnezy, and at some point I use treacherous > prestige (with doyen) against blanche. Treacherous discarded 3 cards, but when the prestige triggered the discard showed 0 cards and didn't let me select anything. Regardless, the time kept ticking but the game didn't let me go on unless I picked a card, causing me to time out.
Needless to say, this bug kinda breaks my deck...
I'll try to capture it if I happen to battle receptacle again. That might not be any time soon though; I don't see them that often.
Legendary bug? I haven't heard of it, and can't find anything about it either.
Could you please elaborate on what that is/does? It'd be useful to know for future matches.
Hey there all! I was playing a courtesan sitar hero deck, and faced nehant corruption mages with nehantic receptacle (NR from this point) among them.
First turn I sent out kimiko vs NR and played sitar hero, hitting him for 5 damage down to 9. The following turns, I played more sitar heroes, but for some reason NR (and he alone) ignored the damage, similar to how he ignores cursed item damage, while iron mask and amidaraxar took full damage.
Am I missing something? My opponent hadn't played any perversions, nor does it seem like NR's "not damaged by your card effects" should extend to my sitar hero.
This just happened to me too. I logged out and double checked if it was english, logged in again and yet everything but the cards and news itself was in french (the changing stuff, not the standard parts of the news screen)
Coylise Myro a écrit :The wakizashi can be used for standard equip as well, since it activates immediately, and allows for turn 1 kills (iro+waki+kensensei).
I don't see how this is possible. [card]Iro the Duelist[/card] (Lv 4) can deal 9-11 dmg if Gakyusha is in the team and alive. If Iro plays [card]Wakizashi[/card] + [card]Kensensei[/card], that brings up the dmg range to 13-15, not quite enough to 1-shot majority of characters.
alright then, calculation time.
Iro has a base attack of 7/9. Coupled with asajiro and gakyusha gives him +2 attack from their bonuses, as well as +1 from his own bonus if gakyusha is there. This makes a base attack bonus of +3, putting him at 10/12.
Iro also has his order bonus turn 1, which gets him another +1 attack. Wakizashi gets him +2 more, making +6, putting him at 13/15.
If you then play kensensei, it will double his +6 into +12, giving him a solid 19/21, which is enough to one-shot just about anything.
Actually, weapons at will (waw) most definitely makes people discard their weapons. When I still played it, I tended to discard all my devourers and speeches to power up waw for an early kill, if at all possible. The wakizashi can be used for standard equip as well, since it activates immediately, and allows for turn 1 kills (iro+waki+kensensei).
You gotta remember, weapons at will is insanely powerful with a lot of weapons in the graveyard. It's plenty powerful enough to make discarding a viable strategy. If you then combine it with watcher to get it back (and just as importantly, dodge obesity), you got yourself a nice combo going on that's just that bit more versatile than items have a soul (imo)
That's just my two cents though. There's probably people around who were more succesful with this sort of deck than I was
I've seen him used with mystic-slayer's shadow. Shadow will be extremely expendable, and can power up avatar when he dies. If you combine them with a suicide hitter, avatar's boost is guaranteed.
Also, you can make use of the fact that sol'ra can actually heal on odd turns now. He's still a priest until you anger him, after all.
Well, from the looks of it you might as well call it the demon hunters tournament. I use them, the entire top 10 seems to use them, everybody uses them. I literally haven't seen anything but demon hunters for at least 10 fights!
They seem to have just a tad bit too many good non-rare cards
I've seen it happen, but only after I played a game in adventure. It seems the game is confused about what it's doing or something...
Workaround is to close and reload the game screen, I think
So, here I was, playing a little game in amnezy with my demon hunters. I was up against zil mages who like buffing themselves to the heavens, so at some point I decide to go evil eye on a turned abyssien. However, for some reason the game simply didn't let me chain anything from it.
Edit: It just happened again, this is getting kinda silly
'
This looks to be the lovechild of scragh and sol'ra avatar... Good job combining the two single most annoying characters in the game
Strange. To me it says and I quote: "sap heart: at the start of the fight, if your character played at least 2 cards he gains 2 health points."
Might this be a mistranslation then?
Thanks for the quick response!
Good to hear it's a bug, I'd love to test how it works in practice. I hope it will be patched soon.
Hey there everyone. Just now I got the idea of adding golemarlok to a zil mages deck, and take advantage of him being a golem in the form of playing witchblade armors.
When building my deck, the game allowed me to add the witchblade armor with a build consisting of Abyssien the devourer, Kuraying and Golemarlok. Then, the game also allowed to me to play a game like normal. However, during Golemarlok's turn I couldn't actually play the witchblade armor.
I was under the impression golems were capable of equipping any and all items. Am I wrong and is this supposed to happen, or is it an actual bug?
I can confirm that sentence deals damage after checking victory conditions. I recently lost a game due to deck out before sentence dealt any damage, despite psychurgist healing for 3 with chiaroscuro.
if you're actually playing yilith with them, sacred intervention is awesome. Just play it on whoever has the icy aura, and watch them heal up after dying with even more defense
If you run a warrior instead, you can use the crow and the emperor to increase attack as well as defense by playing it on icy aura. This would make sevylath epic in the build too.
On the other hand, direct damage cards can also be used to great effect if you get the ring on ayir. That might even be why they gave disembodiment as a gift. Increased damage, as well as getting the aura wearer more defense.
Caitlyn a écrit :id really like to know how they play scragh.
scragh+jorus+ramen and/or scragh+hydra+slayer?
Craftman Scragh seems the most viable.
I've tested them both two weeks ago. Craftsmen scragh couldn't get me beyond 1750, whereas scragh hydra slayer got me well beyond that. I'm pretty sure that build is better.
Edit: After seeing souchi being used in the place of slayer, I used that for a change. It actually works a lot better, considering one-shots are way more common with her. Also, her order bonus fits better with scragh's.
LOL! How's that for posting a deck that I had already posted here 10 days ago
Glad the idea is getting out there though, it would be the first time for me to set a trend
Good to see people testing the deck!
I noticed you added a karajutsu. Any specific reason for that? How is it working out?
After playing quite some games, I noticed I usually don't want to play assassination. Knowing that, I figured it was just taking up space, and switched it out for the [card]Nehant shield[/card].
The shield's main purpose is to filter the deck so I can more reliably get my ever needed aoe and what have you. The fact that yu ling becomes slightly harder to kill is an added bonus. It might save her behind against saps.
Talking about yu ling and saving, I've been in plenty of situations where yu ling happily dissidenced whoever she was fighting to kill and live. At least for this moment I'm going to leave it in.
Edit:
Outside of amnezy I've played against some decks with damage reduction (most notably noz mages with archmage anryena) That sort of stuff hopelessly counters this deck. Because of the reduction, even hydra can't reliably finish anryena, and I won't be able to get any real damage in...
Tadaa doesn't just work with tsume, it works just as well with foggy. It's great defense without any real sacrifice. Against heavy attack this can make a good difference, I think.
I see what you're getting at with dissidence. I have been able to give it some use though, I guess I'll have to get a little more experienced with the deck to find out how much it really needs it.
As for the recording, I'm kinda unfamiliar with recording software. Any program you would recommend?
Thanks for your feedback!
Hey there everyone!
After having seen the fog hydra being used in so many ways, I figured I'd break my head over something that might go along with it. Being a long time fan of the crow as well as the hydra, I figured that might work and with some help of another crow user I managed to come up with something.
Characters:
[card]Fog Hydra[/card]
[card]Yu Ling[/card]
[card]Karasu Kage[/card]
Actions:
[card]Assassination[/card]
[card]Illumination[/card] x3
[card]It is time[/card] x2
[card]Once upon a time[/card] x2
[card]Tadaa! You're a bunny![/card] x2
[card]Dissidence[/card]
Items:
[card]Tsume[/card] x2
[card]Life Devourer[/card] x2
Spells:
[card]Shadow Master[/card] x3
[card]Collision[/card] x2
The big idea is to constantly set up shadow master so the chars can do very high magical damage. Set up for karasu to use tsume and punish while keeping shadow master going with illumination. Then turn 3 comes and the fog hydra can either:
- Once upon a time into life devourer for heavy single damage and equipment
- It is time and illumination > blast everyone for (on average) 5 magic damage with collision.
Ofcourse that's an ideal situation, but with foggy's initiative and the multiple chances of shadow master to show up, it happens pretty often. And even if it doesn't, there's still bunnies or instant life devourers.
So, what do you guys think?
I mean literally that. In the options menu you have the possibility of returning your account back to before you started the prologue
