its because the effect of the card only activates when you die. chimera activates will still not dead. so dragon champion brings you upto 0 health
nvm, doesn't work, the basically was wrong, it states when a character you control dies he heals to -4, he doesn't die until after chimera and dragon's champion heals
i was more posting this for adventure mode, questions, since, i would also have training and paladin's hammer on for the heck of it anyways. was just curious if it would work
this question has been bugging me ever since Summoning Kehper came out. it means that if an ally health falls below -4 he heals until he has -4, my thoughts were if they had that, the dragon's champion, and chimera(note this is why theoretical, cause of the specific order of making sure that this happens) would you not have a guy that would be invincible if none of those cards were to be discarded?
it is no longer discarding any cards, its made me lose 5 matches in a tourny because of this. please ifx
same thing for me, with a noz blast it becomes rather difficult, still woulda won, but they played a card i have never seen before, dragon's sacrifice, and got rid of all the cards i could play, managed to get a memories of battle on my taneas, so another magic study would have allowed me to finish their last 2 characters off
it gets a bit depressing, because i need almost the exactly correct cards to beat those decks. still possible, but its just that much harder
has anyone tried ice elves against the king?
it would be nice if you could list in your collection sellable cards and + and - for how much they would sell on the market

So a little change in the idea.
Instead of a card from the market, why not a basic booster? 4 cards don't seem to much for the gap between levels. And if you think that the first level are to close each other, give them cards that increasing in rarity until level 15 or so, and then give the booster.this would also help controll inflaction
i don't relly like the initial idea (any at choice) since that would make decks wayy too standart, but i like this one of the booster, other that could be nice would be each level would give you points=level (so 1 at lvl 1, 2 at lvl 2, and so on) and you would have option to get cards that way:
the point price of cards would be based off market price:
>common cards:
100-400: 1point
410-800: 2 points
810-1200: 3 points
1210-1600: 4 points
1610+: 5 points>uncommon cards:
250-1k: 5points
1k-2k:e 7points
2-3k: 9 points
3-4k: 11points
4-5k : 13 points
5k+: 15 points>rare cards:
1-2,5k: 15 points
2,5-5k: 18 points
5-7,5k: 21 points
7,5-10k: 24points
10-12,5k: 27points
12,5k+ 30 points>Legendaries: 50points (no matter price or kind of card)

Simple.
Everytime you deal Magic damage, the game checks if the opponent is at -5, if so, you get 1 point. If the opponent is at -15, you get an additional 9 points.So it doesn't matter if you do alot of physical damage. You'll get the point if after dealing Magic damage the opponent is below -5.
i tried that with galenof cocktail, it didn't work
whatever was activated first will have its effect go first, if chimera was played first then you will heal
just as the title says, its sporadic though

this is my luck so far, since i don't have the best magic cards i was hoping i could use galenof cocktal, that didn't work, and when i do get in the right range with the cards i have, the people quit
that does fire damage, so shouldn't it count, it doesn't specify it needs to be all magic, does it? if it does count i should have gotten 10 points

same thing happened to me a couple of times
i can't seem to chain cards anymore, i am facing nomad's, firsts turn, i play a card says i can play another, but when i click it, it doesn't work and won't allows me to click the fight button
its also sporadic, sometimes it lets me sometimes it doesn't
so to get the trophy i just need to do magic damage and then get them down to -10 health? so lets say i play galenof cocktail do some fire magic damage, and then get their health down to -10 would i still get the 10 points for doing that, or does it need to be pure magic?
check bug page, only get points in amnezy tourny it seems

I got it by using 10, not sure if you get points by getting favors
hopefully its both, because i'd rather not use 2 of my favors that i've gotten, i'm saving them for a real hard adventure

No, you need to do the same battle 20 times, 1 water spell in the deck is enough.
for the fire mission i got 2 points, but i used a fire spell 6 times
