Yeah that all makes sense! I think instead, then, they should bring it out on portable devices like the Apple products and BlackBerry and shiz. Or even an adventure mode on a proper console like xBox or PS3 or something, or even an adventure mode on PC which doesn't need the internet. Damn that would be awesome!
There are just too many things wrong with this game for it to be half as popular as any of those games. They never fix bugs, they instead mask the bugs with more content, which just bugs out too. The marketplace is just... I'm not going to play the broken record here, since everyone else mentioned how messed up the market is.
Bugs wouldn't be present in paper cards! And neither would the marketplace! It would just be a case of buying real decks and real boosters :')
I really like this game and am boarderline addicted. I think that this could be as popular as other games (which I won't mention, although they begin in Yu... and Poké...). I'd get people to join in with this and it would be awesome! It has almost 300k people on Facebook who like it and over 2 million people registered.
There are things defined at random like the actual damage done by a character. Factors affecting this are the min/max attack and defence, and spirit. Maybe a little machine of sorts could give random numbers out and it could be defined this way. I understand this would take quite a lot of money to start and continue, but I think it would be well worth it because it has quite a fanbase:
24m games have been played
2m people have registered
281k people like it on Facebook
120k people are monthly users
792 people have 100 or more posts in these forums
And it has only been going for 2 years?!
Just a thought :')
I'd quite like there to be some sort of database here which would tell you more about the cards - mainly to see if you need anything to upgrade a card. In the marketplace you can see whether or not it is at its max upgrade, but you can't see if you need another card(s) to do it with. It could be set out like this:
Upgrade:
Name:
Guild:
Race:
Type:
Caste:
Rarity:
Upgrade Reqs:
Spirit:
Min attack:
Max attack:
Defence:
Health:
Description:
Flavour:
Effect (for non character cards):
I'm sure we can all pull together and get some sort of thing like this going - I'd be more than happy to contribute some information about my deck and cards in my collection, and I hope the rest of the community would be too!
And please comment if there is anything I have missed out
Oh definitely! It's personal preferance and I'd prefer to have it, but of course I'm not everyone
I'm getting annoyed when I keep losing with my current deck, so I'm selling off certain cards, waiting for the payment and buying more. In game you get a message when you sell a card in the marketplace, but you have to check the game to know if you've sold anything. It would be good to receive a notification on Facebook or an e-mail which says something cheesy like, 'there has been activity in the marketplace - check it out now!' :')
foil card foils the card u use it on... doesnt matter whether there is an upgrade or no... go to your collection, then check for the card u want to foil, go to the exp stat screen, pull the foil card over the card of ure choice... voilà
So you can actually make any card foiled?! That's pretty awesome, but surely that's saturate the market and bring their prices down?
Use a [card]foil[/card] card
What if there's no upgrade?
Can you make a card foil if it started normal? I mean, is there anything you can do to it? :')
I run a tracker deck because I love the tactics behind it. Damn it's so powerful! But anyway, I think an awesome card to have would be the following:
Name: Something
Guild: Kotoba
Race: Human
Class: Marauder / Mage
Caste: Tracker
Spirit: 1
Attack: 8/10
Defence: 2
Health: 14
Description: Turns 1, 4 and 7: Spirit +1, Attack +1 and Defence +1. Turns 4+: heals x health points where x equals the turn number plus the number of cards in the opponent's deck divided by the number of cards in your hand.
Now that would be powerful and impressive!
