Adventure mode is used to get free cards, which means it is not very high on the priority totem pole for this game.
Correct, the JP side decides what is tournament-banned and as such is responsible for play-testing.
Yep, in mainstream card games, they...
1. Have this thing called a side deck. Also, tournaments are 2/3 minimum.
2. Ban cards from tournament play that are too powerful.
3. Playtest most cards before printing them. I stress "most" cards...some sneak by like Rescue Rabbit in YGO since it was made by the English version and not the Japanese one.
Well.... conquer or perish and rise of the dragon are banned at the moment from amnezy. So are weapons at will and most other one shot kill cards.
Quick Draw is currently tournament-banned. So...no.
All the cards you are referring to are currently tournament-banned.
That means there really is no counter to tempus at the moment.
The people have spoken, ban the cards, nerf em, or lose money. Your choice, devs.
Keeps happening to my opponents, here.
That or they decide to leave when I let them win since I have no decent mages to do daily with...
Tournament of a million or others?
If tournament of a million, tournaments been buggy since its inception. Stuff like this is commonplace.
If not tournament of a million, hack attempt which caused the game to crash from the other player would be the most likely culprit. The game has checks and balances server-side that end games where hacking stats is attempted, if i remember correctly.
I'll try my best not to.
On a side note, back on the topic of the card lotto...can one person win more than 1 of the copies or not, if they had enough tickets?
Edit. Nevermind, just saw the last sentence..1 per person.
Was actually referring to fighting broken Tempus decks with 3 turn KO nehant ones, but w/e.
People decided to fight fire with fire. Doesn't really matter til the last 2 days, though.
Yes, Kared. its a common way to cheat the system.
Acc 1 of guild ya want to win. Acc 2 guild ya want to lose.
Acc 2 leaves. Guild 1 gets a win, guild 2 gets a loss. System is cheated.
6 turns +16 added via card effects.
1 or 2 crystals lost vs having a level playing field, which means more crystals won overall. I'm gonna have to go with level playing field.
It's been 1 sided from the moment Dilemma was made. I'm simply suggesting a solution that hurts tempus players where it counts- their wallets. They want to level their cards or buy new ones? Sure, they can use RL cash to do it until the cards are fixed.
Keep in mind this benefits
A. Everyone who doesn't play Tempus.
and
B. Feerik, by making them more money.
Here's a solution- every time we see a Tempus deck in the non-tournament rooms, just leave. That way, they get no exp, no crystals. Think of it as a "refuse to play against broken decks" strike.
Ya, there's a reason the uncommon tempus cards are now worth more than older legendary cards.
You forgot they can do the same with Aging for magic damage.
Just experienced the overpowered combo myself. 25-30 atk in 2-3 turns after only using 4 or so cards total is just overpowered. Looks to me like they'll have to rewrite the most recent additions to the tempus cards or risk a huge decrease in profits, maybe even game-killing,
I smell a ban coming up for certain cards.
Best things about Nehant...
1. They have no Golems.
2. They have no Craftsmen.
Speaking of Avalonians, how about a Legendary one, preferably a new character altogether. Would be even more awesome if they could do the growing up thing on the card like they did with Johan leveling.
Actually, its great for just about any deck, as long as magi and the clergy aren't involved it has almost no drawbacks whatsoever.
So basically, if nehants lose, they still win? Doesn't make much sense, especially since nehants can't even group with mercenaries.
